to secure the product quality and on-time delivery of the products from Vietnam.
The description of the position:
Quality:
· Final control of shoes and uppers according to the uvex standards & guidelines
· Supervision and inspection of product quality within the production
· Supervision of incoming goods in the production
· Communication with our subsidiaries in Europe about quality issues
· Issue of inspection records and reports
· Continuous communication with the suppliers to improve product quality
· Monitor and perform physical and chemical lab tests at the suppliers or with external labs
· Monitoring of orders & deliver dates from uvex as well as the quantity
· Securing material availability at manufacturer (critical material list, stock and orders with delivery promise)
· Support/ information to Headquarters in case of delivery problems of pre-suppliers
· Follow-up of sample production to despatch
The following job requirements are essential:
Quality
· More than one year of professional experience in a producing firm
· Knowledge shoe inspections (incoming / intermediate / final inspection)
· Knowledge shoe technology
· Monitoring compliance with place of production / production line
· Readiness to be present at manufacturer frequently
· Experience in project management as well as development processes
(preferably in the shoe industry)
· Monitoring of visible conditions at the suppliers and make sure that they are in compliance with our uvex social standards (e.g. health and safety regulations, discrimination, working hours etc.)
